Box Rails for Barn Door

I installed Box rails for a home-made 8 foot sliding barn door. It was easy to mount and connect the two 8 foot sections. The tricky part was mounting the roller hanger to the door and adjusting it so that the door could be lifted and put on the track. I wanted to hang it on the first try because the door weighed around 250lbs. With the help of a neighbor we were able to get the job done on the first try. Total install time was about two Hours--not bad for amateur barn Door Hangers
