Excellent performance for just over 6 day during Irene

My system is actually a 15kw which I purchased 7 years ago. It functioned flawlessly with continuous operation for just over 6 days. It was only stopped every other day to check/top off the oil. It operated all of the essential systems identified below. This is a quality produce that I have been recommending to everyone all week. It is 'no muss; no fuss' and well worth the investment especially for women who are single head of household. Thank you Generac!

after inatallation was complete and tested then put into service a storm came thru 24hrs. later and took down power. For the first time in 15 yrs. i didn't have to make a mad dash to start and hook-up my portablr, a great relief. I like the appearance and reliability so far of this generator!

Rugged and reliable power through several hurricanes

We installed the 14KW Generac at my parent's house in Annapolis, MD years ago. They used to lose power all the time from falling Tulip Poplar trees in the area. The generator ran for 8 days after Hurricane Isabel in 2003. More recently during hurricane Irene in 2011 two tulip poplars fell crushing part of their garage. The roots pulled up the generator which was already running. The generator ran in that condition for 5 more days and never missed a beat. It's the best investment they ever made.

We had our unit installed by Shepp Electric in Monteville, OH a few years ago and love it. Many friends and relatives purchased portable generators to run certain items in the home. We looked at the process they went through and looked into a whole house with a transfer switch. The folks at Shepp talked us through the process and installed it just a few days later. They handled the permits and the inspections and we have been trouble free ever since. They perform the annual service and keep us ready for the next power outage where we enjoy uninterupted electrical service. Great addition. Thanks Shepp and Generac.
