I bought this motor to replace my ingersol rand compressor motor i bought from tractor supply that only lasted 3 yrs with limited use. The first replacement motor lasted 6 months, the next one 7 days, now this one 1 hour. Should i say junk or bad luck?

I bought this motor to replace a 12year old air compressor motor. It worked good for 2 weeks and then started to kick breaker when it was trying to start compressor.Took it back to the store and got another replacement,it only has been on the compressor for one day and is doing the same thing.I am going to take it back tomorrow and I guess that I will try another. It looks like I could get another motor to last 12 years like the original one.I hope that the third time is a charm!!!!!

When we first hooked this motor up to our compressor, it was slow to start and kept blowing the breaker. After hand cranking the pulley, starting & restarting it several sessions, the motor worked fine. It has done a good job ever since.
