Description

The Schleich® Frog Figure depicts an amphibian found near the water all over the world. Frogs lay many eggs at a time and these eggs hatch into tadpoles. The tadpoles breathe with gills and swim using a tail. As they mature, they lose their tail and develop lungs for breathing air. Many frogs have long tongues that are sticky and are used to catch bugs. When a frog swallows his meal, his bulgy eyeballs will close and go down his head! The eyeballs apply pressure and actually push a frog's meal down his throat.
