Durable & detailed
Date:August 20, 2010
The wife & in-laws have gotten these for our kids, and they're surpirsingly durable. Not brittle plastic, more like hardened rubber - have stood up to 3 little kids' abuse well! Detailed texture and coloring as well.

Love these animals!!
Date:February 25, 2010
As a wife and mom, I didn't have much interest in going into a TS store, but I'm glad I did! I discovered Schleich animals and am hooked! I've been collecting them with every trip to TS. I love the detail, the realistic look, and that they're sturdy and well made. I plan on creating dioramas and various mini scenes with these animals, complete with barnyard settings for the farm animals, jungle scenes for the "wild animals," and mini trees and vegetation. I may even buy some ERTL tractors and machinery for a complete farm landscape scene. I hope to donate a few dioramas to local hospitals and nursing homes, and I also hope to sell some at craft shows. Yup--I'm hooked on these, and even though I get teased a bit being a middle-aged mom buying "toys," no one needs to coax me anymore to go into a Tractor Supply store!
