Great latch..but we need a different color.

Love these latches.. we put up 15 of them so far.. they work great.. but I would recommend using large exterior rated screws.. the huge ones that they use for decking.
I do wish thy had them in tan or brown.. even so I am fond of them... is a bit distracting to see red spots along my fence line ... I had to spray paint two near the house looked real weird with the brown fence line.
Also helps to grease them up every 6 mos of so. that way they swing closed effortlessly.
We are up t 6 years on some of them and they look like new.
Work best on a square post however.
I recomended them to a neighbor for his dog fence and he is so very happy with it as well.. He has arthritis and the ease of use works for him he said.

Best Latch there is!

If you have the ole chain type latch for your gates, throw those out and step into easy livin' with these quik latches! Hands full, not a problem, one handed opening is sooo easy. Even on horseback you can just bend down, hook your finger on the latch, lift up and push open...easy to put on too! I recommend these latches to everyone!

2 way gate latch

We found this latch at Tractor Supply when we bought our small horse farm 10 years ago. They are so easy to use with one hand and I know my horses cannot get out with this secure latch. I have recommened this latch to many horse people. It still looks great and works perfectly after 10 years!

This gate latch is so easy to use and strong, as well! We have the houdinis of horses and they can't get this gate open. It closes so easily, even when you have your arms full of hay! This latch is on ALL of our gates, both people gates and animal gates! Also a good latch to use to keep little people from opening up gates!
