Producer's Pride® HayStretcher is a 12%-protein, high-fiber pellet designed to replace up to three-quarters of the hay in a horse's or ruminant animal's diet. An economical way to stretch hay supplies and still meet the fiber needs of horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. Feeding instructions:
It is recommended to feed a small amount (about one quarter of the forage portion of the diet) of hay to prolong the time spent chewing and to promote salivation. If more hay is fed, reduce the amount by about 1 lb. for each 2 lb. of hay fed. Feeding rates may vary with age, size, temperament, health status, climate, forage quality, and availability, and activity level. always provide fresh, clean water and a vitamin/mineral supplement. Hard-working or lactating animals will benefit from additional concentrate feed. Store in a dry, well ventilated area protected from rodents and insects. Do not fee moldy or insect-infested feed to animals as it may cause illness, performance loss, abortion, or death.

Mature maintenance/light work, early/mid gestation: 1.50-1.75 lb.
Moderate work, late gestation/lactation: 1.75-2.0 lb.
