extremely durable mats

I bought these mate over 5 years ago and they are still as good as new! My barn has cement floors which I didn't want the horses standing on no matter how deeply they were bedded so I went looking for mats. I needed mats that cushioned the cement floor sufficiently but not so soft that they weren't durable or were unsafe. I found these mats after looking for quite a while and have been nothing but pleased with them! Not only were they a reasonable price, they are the perfect hardness vs softness (the ridges on the back make a good cushioning effect) and they also help keep the floors warmer in the winter. They were easy to trim with a razor knife to fit around the structure wall posts. I drag them out of the stalls regularly and clean them top and bottom with the power washer, which has had no ill effects on them at all over the years. My horses have never had foot or leg problems. I highly recommended these mats to anyone who has horses!

Put it in the house!

My wife and I covered the floors in our living room, formal dining room, kitchen, dining area and master bedroom with these mats. After tearing out carpet and tile, we cut to the mats to fit. We love it.
We used some black sealant on the borders to give a nicer finish, but the weight of the mats allowed us to avoid using anything on the backing to hold the mats in place.
It's easy on your feet when you're working in the kitchen. It allows us to get down on the floor and play with the kids and the dogs. It cleans up easily and looks high-tech, which fits with our decor.
Some of our friends think we're crazy, but a few have considered doing the same.
The Tractor Supply folks were great at helping us load, although they got really curious about how big our horse barn was before they finally asked us why we were buying so many mats.

Great Weight Room Flooring

I purchased six of these mats for my workout room. They are wonderful. They save the floor from weights being dropped on it. Also creates a non-slip surface. Very eye appealin, instead of just painted bare concrete. Going to purchase more to cover whole entire flooring in this room and possibly for car garage. Before, had recently put down the expensive interlocking floor tile mats, but just wasn't as durable.

Fantastic Dog Kennel Mat!!!

Never knew these existed, since I do not have horses, but discovered them at Tractor Supply. Put down gravel in my chain link dog kennels over the red clay and placed these mats over the top. I screwed one 9" log scew into each corner of each mat so they would stay put, and so my rotties could pull up the corners and chew them up. Almost one year later, they are still as good as new. Easy to hose off. Love them.
