This protection comes from the neoprene exterior working together with the inner lining. On the outside of the boot, a high-density, closed-cell, limestone-based neoprene enables the SMBs to absorb and dissipate high levels of negative energy from hoof concussion. On the inside of the neoprene, UltraShock™ material lines the boot. The energy absorption is attained in the sewn-in UltraShock lining, along with the neoprene exterior. These unique materials are designed to absorb energy generated as the hoof impacts the ground, and to stretch and return to their original shape. Finally, the suspensory support comes from the unique lower suspensory strap.
