I have these and everyone is saying they pull out the hair. I have horses and these work best if you bath you animal they use show shen all over the body. let the hair dry then shave the animal. weather you are using these ones or any other type of clippers. you should always do this anyways. never shave a dirty animal. the dirt an what ever is in the hair will daul the blades or make then not work right. that is why you are having the pulling problems. i use this on my Mini today and had him fully shaved in an hour and a half.

WONDERFUL for a dog

I was kind of skeptical even after reading the reviews, but I did purchase them. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the job we could do on our dog! Didn't take much time and now I can keep pur wooly beast (black lab/golden retriever mix) cut short. She is more comfortable that way.

I agree with the other comment-ripped hair out and stopped cutting the hair after 1 hour of work-bought new blades and it continued to rip the hair or left large patches uncut. Regardless if I cleaning the blades, keeping them oiled or let the unit cool, it seemed to get worse. I returned this product and bought a Lister by Wahl and had him completely clipped in 2 hours. I would not recommend this product to anyone needing to body clip based on my experience with it. Tractor Supply was fantastic in helping me with the many exchanges I made to find the right one!

Pulls more than cuts

I bought 2 of these now - the first one took two swipes then just started pulling the hair. I returned it and got a replacement. It took me 1 1/2 hours to body clip 1/2 of a pony. You have to go extremely slow with it or it just pulls the hair and it leaves a lot of lines. Not at all happy with it. Am taking it back to the store today for a refund. Will be buying the clipmaster or the lister star.
