This is my third year of putting up hay for my own horses on a small 10-acre farm. This year I bought the hay elevator, and what a great piece of equipment. Makes quick and easy work of getting bales into the loft. A piece of equipment this good deserves a name. I will call her Ellie, and she will deliver my bales unto my loft where they are quickly stacked with only three people who do not do manual labor for a living, making it easier to get friends and relatives to help bring the hay in. ;>)
Seriously, I am very pleased. My 21 YO son and I put this thing together and set it up with no problem. It looks to be durable enough to do what I need, which is about 350 bales a year. Bales are 40-50 lbs.
