I bought several of these to use when I was building a ramp for a small utility trailer. I used solid pins on the frame of the trailer with a hole drilled near the ends and then a piece of flat steel to span the gap between the pin on the ramp and the frame of the trailer. These Linch pins work great for securing this setup.
