Good gate
Date:December 19, 2010
Wont hold back a ticked off yearling though. If a cow or bull really wants to they will destroy this gate just like what happened to us but other than that, no complaints. The gate was hitched onto a telephone pole, the hinges bent but did not break and it was held closed by a chain that was locked into a pin. The pin got bent into the tree. It took our John Deere 2240 to "straighten" it out again but we found out how heavy duty it was (and I don't meant that in a sarcastic way) We had to ram and bull to "fix" that gate. We do suggest checking your bolts from time to time so it doesn't fall off your post or tree. If it does fall off it's a fairly light gate if you are used to lifting fairly-moderate weighted objects. But the gate did what it was supposed to do. The paint stuck. I would recommend this gate to anyone.
