many uses
Date:March 26, 2010
It may sound funny, but the cattle feedlot 16' panel has a variety of uses on our farm. First and foremost, we use them to contain our sheep and goats. We do have to add chicken wire to the bottom to keep the babies in. The panels are also used in a hay feeder unit. The feeder is made of wood with a floor, but the fence panels are angle to contain the hay. Our animals can reach through to pull out the hay. We also utilize them in a greenhouse/portable housing unit for our pastures. Four panels are mounted on top of landscape timbers in a square (the sides are slightly shorter). Four more panels are then arched over the top to form the roof. The roof area is then covered with a tarp and secured. Small gates are cut in the panels. Aside from the animals, we also use the panels for the garden. Climbing vegetables creep up them. If you would like photos, we can supply them. Thanks!

Combo Panels

We used these panels to support chain link fencing at our boarding kennel to keep destructive dogs from digging and tearing the fencing. They stopped the destruction immediately. Hog-ringed to the existing fencing, even destructive working dogs were held in for durations when their k-9 handlers were away and needed a secure place to board their dogs. These panels kept us from having to go to electricity as a deturant.
