Surprised by negative reviews; love the product
Date:May 18, 2012
I was suprised to read the negative reviews. I have a three rail fencing and use the Hot Wire to keep the horses off the fences. I have all my wires hung with the Ring Insulator with no issues.
I remember breaking one, maybe two when turning them into the post, however each time it was because I was hitting the edge of a knot in the would. After two years I am heading back to buy a spare bag as I found a broken insulator; but I would not consider that a negative after two years of exposure to heat and extreme cold.

Junk
Date:November 18, 2011
Weak, weak, weak. Broke like like a row of dominoes falling down as soon as a deer put some pressure on the rope. Had to replace all of them. Completely inadequate for typical applications. The plastic is brittle and snaps right off beyond the screw.

Absolute junk. Save your money. They do not hold up to any tension at all.
