UNDERPOWERED - OK FOR CATS AND RABBITS?

This unit is way underpowered for anything but the most timid adversary. If you are trying to keep a small pet inside the wire, or little bitty critters like rabbits out of a garden, you are probably OK. But it won't light any more than 2 lights on a five-light tester ... and that's on a very small fence. Three miles? NO WAY.
Buy something else if you've got something valuable to protect, or a big critter to keep in or out.
The Zareba B5 coupled with a Diehard Tractor Battery is a much better bet for about the same investment.

Great solar fencer

We purchased this fencer for our horse pasture. We have used it for 2 years now and have never had a problem with it. Saves on the electric bill too!!

Very practical and works well

Was unable to get a good ground near my house due to a large amount of shale surrounding the house. I was able to use the solar fencer at the far edge of the property, and have the ground in a forever marshy area which gave me an excellent ground without miles of extension cords.
