Great addition

II own a land pride PD25 (Post Hole digger). I have a 9" bit from Land pride and it was digging the holes in about 30 - 45 min per hole after 4 of the 16 holes in the hard Indiana clay. I purchased this 6 inch digger and it allowed me to dig all the other 12 holes in about 20 min. I think it is in the design of the PILOT BIT.

I bought the 6 inch auger to replace a bent 8 inch auger. It fit perfectly on my older post hole digger. Used it to set some 10 foot 4x4 post and some 8 foot round post. Dug down 2 feet in heavy clay with no problem. So far so good for the price. Was about $20.00 cheaper than other stores.

what a time saver

i got a 6 in. auger for our 3 point auger, it dug, and cleaned out fantastic. i was digging holes for 6 in. post, and there was adequate room to set post. what a great tool.
