if i can use it--anyone can! im a short 56 yr old female with health problems and i could do the fencesby my self. hardest part for me is lifting the center bar up high enough to fish it thru the top of the role--im only 5'. onec i figured that out it was pretty simple, the strecher is on my tractor, when i got the hight i wanted i raised the hitch to the level i wanted and roled out about 50 ' at a time (i shut of the tractor so the boom stayed up till i nailed it) than started up again ane did more. last sec is a little hard because its hard to get the tractor close to the fence. one thing id say would improve thre design would be --have the fence feed out to the sides instead of center of the 2 wheels--that way the fencing could get closer to the fence. the big screws do bend pretty easy so when u take it off the tractor be carful not to lay it on the screws. still a great product--wish they had it years ago when i was putting up miles of fence!

I used this tool to stretch horse-safe fencing on our property. The 300' rolls are extermely heavy, and this fence stretcher not only made it easier to roll out and stretch the fence, it turned it into a single-man operation.
The tool allows the fencing to roll out while vertical, which makes it much easier to snug the fencing up to the fenceposts. Then, once the end of the run is reached, you simply flip the bar and tighten 3 bolts (designed for tightening by hand - no tools needed) to secure the fence for stretching. The only thing I found wrong with using the tool is that these bolts can get a little bent when NOT using the tool if you are not careful about how you store the tool.
The bar that holds the fence pins the entire height of the fence secure, so you also get a nice even stretch.

My husband and I have run fence for years at our previous property. Recently we purchased a new home and needed to run a perimeter fence. But we needed help and we purchase the wire unroller and stretcher. It was a life saver. Made running the fence so much easier. Normally it would of taken the 2 of us several weeks, but with this piece of equipment it made it quicker and easier. Weve since had several friends rent it from us to run their fence also.
