this middle buster pictured is not what is in the store a cheaper version not quick hitch is what bening sold i showed the sales perlon who had no clue there was a difference untill i showed him a picture of the differance he then refunded me my money and could not offer me whats pictured i was dissapointed at the lack of knowledge of the sales people and this company

I was looking at the sub-compact version, but it is very poor compared to this unit. I have a JD 2305 sub-compact, and it handles this unit well.
I wish they would sell a simple straight blade to make this into a sub-soiler. Other than that, it is a workhorse.

Seems to work well, have not broken it yet, found that the upper pin was 7/8 inch in stead of the standard 3/4 inch. It took a lot shorter top link to get it angled down enough to make it dig. I had to replace my 21 inch compressed toplink to a 14 inch compressed toplink to get it to dig. I think that if I can find a 9 inch it would be about right.

I purchased this item from the Wise,Va store. I am very pleased with this item, it is a great tater digger. I plowed 30, 100 foot rows of taters and it done a great job. I am so glad that the salesman from the store knew what he was talking about when I was lookin for this item. Thank you tractor supply.
