I purchased this disc to use (primarily) with an older, 18hp HD garden tractor for yard work & gardens. Although it is a good match to this garden tractor, I have been very disappointed in its effectiveness at both tasks. It needs lots of added weight even after trying many adjustments of turnbuckle--even in pre-existing garden plots. Forget cutting hard clay or dry dirt. It also does not work well if you try to use it to disc a turned (plowed) plot as it hangs up/drags on the ridges/furrows. It needs more angle on discs, more weight, better adjustments for serious work. Pros. It is easy to hook up, transport & works fairly well in moist yards to do final seeding/over seeding...but a small aerator does just as well for much less money.

Disc harrow

This disc harrow is great!!! I used it for plowing deer plots and have no problem at all. You can also add weight to it to get a deeper cut. Smooths our rough roads also. I pull it with a 500cc 4 wheeler with no problems.

This is the worst thing to put in food plots period. First thing is that it is not heavy enough or wide enough. second is that when cutting a new area it wont even fase it at all. It is a waist of time. Very cheaply made and not that durable at all.
