Light Weight Cutter (Rear Panels will bend)
Date:July 13, 2011
I bought the five footer, County Line Brand from Tractor Supply. The cutter does cut very well. The reason that I cannot recommend this cutter is the light weight panels on the rear, the 45 degree rear panels. They are light weight and not reinforced enough for even medium duty work. If you back into a medium growth of brush they will bend inward and eventually be caught by the rotating blade. The blade cuts well and will quickly cut a large hole in the back panel of your cutter when this happens. I had been cutting with an old cutter unknown brand for months. It was only a four footer so I sold it and bought this five footer from Tractor Supply to speed up the operation. After only 20 minutes of use there was a huge hole cut in the rear panel of my new cutter. All that they would have to do is reinforce these panels, especially at the bottom. The knurled up 12 gauge just isn't enough. I had purchased this several months prior to using, so taking it back is not an option. The only way that I can continue using the cutter is to straighten these rear panels and weld in some reinforcement and heavier metal. I see a lot of positive reviews on this website, they must be cutting weeds and not doing any backing while they cut.

Great mower
Date:August 22, 2010
This 6' bush hog type mower is excellent as it goes through anything I run it through. Cuts great. 6' size is great behind my big tractor. Gonna take care of this so it lasts a long time.
